What's it like to be a Physiotherapist?
Physiotherapists are qualified professionals specially trained to assist patients with movement and mobility problems by performing a variety of treatments. They sometimes work with patients who have lost mobility due to accidents or disease and help them recover movement through physical therapy. Physiotherapists also make recommendations by customising an exercise plan to repair or prevent damage in joints, muscles and other parts of the body. This role is normally found in medical facilities such as hospitals, physical rehabilitation clinics or private medical practices. Some sports organisations, medical research companies or speciality schools also employ physiotherapists.

- Using special equipment to alleviate pain or retrain the body to restore motor function.

- Conducting research on the latest innovations to improve or restore motor skills.
