How to become a Site Administrator
Site Administration involves a mix of organisational, logistical, and managerial tasks. You must be proficient with office productivity suites, be adept at operational tasks, and have terrific problem-solving skills.
- 1.Finish a minimum GCE N- or O-Level. However, some employers may prefer a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, or an industry-relevant field, especially if you anticipate higher roles.
- 2.Look for internships or more junior roles to familiarise yourself with the work.
- 3.Some industries may require you to take special training, such as the Supervisors Safety Course or Construction Safety Course for Project Managers, or have specific licences. For example, registering with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) would be a boon to Construction Site Administrators.
