Their modest beginnings started in Lengkok Bahru where they established their first vegetable and fruit trading business, three months later they shifted their operations to Pasir Panjang Centre where they operated from for the next 14 years.During those years, the business flourished and operations expanded. Their customer base included the U.S Navy, Changi International Airport Services (CIAS), various local hospitals, foreign cruise ships and ship chandlers.
