The good thingsGenerally for F&B, the colleagues are helpful. Most have decent attitudes rather than rude or complacent which I had experienced in other companies. Excellent experience for resume. Open to new ideas.
The challengesMarketing and Operations are heavy in workload. The impression is given is that there is constant rush for sales, therefore multiple promotions and marketing partnerships are pushed out within a tight period that I had not seen in other F&Bs. Imagine as a server you need to remember about 10 promos at the tip of your finger tips. Marketing need to push out plenty of promotions. Non-Event/long-term promos can be spaced out to allow ops staff to be better familiarised before paling on another promo.
