    The good thingsSome colleagues are supportive and helpful
    The challenges• Marketing output expectations that would normally require 2–3 people were expected to be handled by one person. Workload expectations could also increase significantly over time alongside existing responsibilities. • Even when certain areas were deprioritised due to workload concerns, urgent tasks and updates in those same areas were still expected. • Intern support was part of the team structure, but interns were shared across multiple departments and only available during certain periods, which limited dedicated support for marketing. • Hiring for the marketing team was not prioritised despite workload concerns being raised. • Working beyond official office hours was common and not limited to peak periods • Due to the “lean team” structure, the role involved a very fluid job scope, including helping other departments while still fulfilling core marketing responsibilities. • No formal or documented performance appraisal process during my tenure.
