There are two divisions within the Singapore studio – Feature Animation and ILM Singapore – and each group shares technology, processes, resources and talent. This unique format provides artists the ability to collaborate under one roof on a variety of disciplines, while also working in partnership with Lucasfilm’s US based teams on international productions.HistoryLucasfilm Ltd was founded by George Lucas in 1971 and is one of the world's leading fully-integrated film and entertainment companies.Lucasfilm Singapore – Lucasfilm Ltd’s studio in Singapore – produces digital animated content for film and television and visual effects for feature films. The studio officially opened its doors in October 2005 and is currently home to more than 350 employees.

    The good thingsI enjoy working with diverse background especially with the best people in the visual effects community. Great benefits, great people and work place but it turn out differently when it was sold to Disney.

    The good thingsThere is always a new and interesting problem to tackle and overcome. The work environment is great and colleagues are great as well.
    The challengesDifficulty here is advancement. There is not much room to move up. The flat hierarchy also does not help much.
