We are part of the Mitsubishi Electric conglomerate. Mitsubishi has been designing, installing, testing and maintaining our own unique brand of elevators and escalators since the 1930s. Mitsubishi Elevator has built a name for herself in creating breakthroughs that make transportation within buildings comfortable, safe, and even aesthetic. Take our spiral escalator, for example. A Mitsubishi Elevator original, it’s not only fun to ride, but has opened up entirely new possibilities in public space design. Its development required years of experienced effort from our master designers and craftsmen to overcome the immense physical, technical and mechanical challenges involved. Then there’s our super high-speed elevator, one of the fastest in the world.

What’s it like working at Mitsubishi Elevator?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Mitsubishi Elevator appreciate the learning opportunities available, including developing customer service skills, repairing escalators, and fostering good attitudes and punctuality. The company is known for its reliable products and has a good long-term plan for business development. Employees also value the experience they gain from projects, maintenance, and learning about management set-ups, as well as the friendly environment.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as demanding workloads with long night standby shifts and limited ability to plan for annual leave. Additionally, wages may not be as attractive as desired, making it challenging to attract and retain employees. There are also concerns about benefits becoming less favourable after changes in management and HR, and some reviewers have noted that employee retention policies could be improved to address higher-than-expected attrition rates. Furthermore, there is a high demand for skilled technicians, engineers, and management, which can be a challenge for the company.
