Employees at Moral Welfare Home appreciated the pleasant surroundings with nice plants and chickens roaming around, as well as the free food provided. Higher management was able to provide guidance throughout employees' career pathways, and employees shared the same vision and dedication to the mission, creating a family environment with cooperation and shared goals.
However, there were potential challenges, such as concerns about the overall work environment being unenjoyable, excessive talk without action from management, difficulties balancing work and personal commitments, excessive red tape from the Ministry which did not understand the ground work, differences in opinions across departments due to differences in procedures or work protocols, the challenges of shift work making it easy to lose track of days and public holidays, and concerns about office politics and competitions among lower-ranking employees from diverse backgrounds.
