    Founded on 17 Dec 1994 by Mr Edison Lee, Nautical Concept started off as a distributor for international shoe brands from USA, UK and Italy.In 1997, Edison started working with designers in Spain and Italy to create designs under his own brands, JWest, Sole Lovers and Passporte, as he felt that many designs, materials and fittings of imported brands are not entirely suitable for the Asian customers.In 2010, Nautical secured the franchising rights of Staccato, in addition to Johnston & Murphy, which it has represented since 1994.Nautical Concept also collaborates with Isetan to design and manufacture its entire range of ladies shoes under Isetan’s exclusive label ELYSE.Today, Nautical Concept operates 6 boutiques and 40 concessionaire counters throughout Singapore and Malaysia in key departmental stores such as Isetan, Metro, Parkson, Robinsons, Takashimaya and Tangs.Nautical Concept employs about 100 staff and is based in Singapore in 15,000 sq ft integrated office cum warehouse. It also has offices in Malaysia and China.
