Once-in-a-lifetime experience, not guaranteed to change your life for the better.
The good thingsGood place to retire
The challenges- Can't take annual leave if Reporting Officer (RO) doesn't like you because your leave is subject to approval by your RO. - Not sure how computer illiterate personnel are able to be hired here (i.e. not knowing how to share OneDrive folders, not knowing how to insert pictures in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word, etc.), like I said, good place to retire. - Takes 1 day MC in a year, gets labeled as 'lazy', 'always not around'. P.S. every employee is entitled to 14 days of MC in a year. - Unhelpful colleagues depending on your project.

A deeply toxic workplace that severely impacted morale, growth, and overall well-being.
The good thingsThere was nothing particularly positive about my experience; unfortunately, no aspects stood out as good.
The challengesThe environment was highly toxic, with poor communication, lack of support, and unhealthy workplace dynamics.

The good thingsI made a lot of new friends when I was working there and I learned alot from working there.
The challengesI would prefer not to discuss this.

Company is big. Hard to outshine others if company did not invest heavily on all the staff for new skill set or send them for required courses to upgrade their technical efficiency.
The good thingsTeam Works. Project Manager are supportive
The challengesDemanding customer. Contract staff benefit is not as good as permanent staff. Lesser salary increment and opportunities for contract staff.

Competitive, will reward good performing staff well, comparable to AWS/Meta/Google type of company.
The good thingsLeadership, HR, cleanliness... almost everything is perfect if you know how to ask for it. Do not expect to be given free things, most of bad reviews here are from low position/slackers. I got to solutions arch in around 6 years with barely any OT. Think about it: there is no OT if you finish your job on time. Study hard and think hard if you want to join NCS. Largest southeast asia tech company by a large margin for a reason. Also since NCS is partnered with Faang companies, make sure to network around, can easily get into those companies if you have experience using their products in NCS. FYI: NCS had a massive change in management so most of the reviews older than 2022 will not apply anymore.
The challengesIf you are not good - you won't get promoted & work long hours. Competitive because of the sheer amount of people working here, you must stand out quite a lot to get promoted. Don't skip after work-hours meetings, leaves a bad impression. Like I said above, you must ask for things that you want. No one will care for you, you are not a child, and no one is your mother once you start working.

    Nightmare
The good thingsIf you like regimental style of working with and dead minded boss. This suitable for you.
The challengesYour boss will just want to see you everyday. Even if your project is not belong to that client, it will still ask you to go there work. Doing other client job at another client place. I don't really agree with it

Good memories, learnt a lot about professional presentation in customer service and how the good and the bad are shared among various levels of IT support.
The good thingsAmazing colleagues, wise and decisive boss, good starting location and pay
The challengesLong hours, OT is a given during peak periods (e.g. app and server downtime encountered by clients).

    Worthwhile.
The good thingsGreat experience gains. Just need to ask and be proactive.
The challenges Depends at where are you posted to, it might be overwhelming and too fast at first. Or it might be slow and bore (might be good opportunity too). Just don't get too comfortable, passive or lazy, if career advancement is your goals.

    Flexible and stable career
The good thingsAble to handle different aspects of work and learn a lot independently in a short time frame. Good for those who like to try many things and challenge yourself.
The challengesSometimes when a project ends and we have to move on to another project, this is when we have to step out of the comfort zone. This is exactly why in the first place I like my job.

Provide first-level IT support for end-users and IT infrastructure.
The good thingsPositive and healthy work environment. Since this is a school-environment project, engineers and end-users co-operate really well and learn from each other. This project is suitable for those entry-level IT enthusiasts who are constantly looking to upgrade themselves, you will definitely have time to study for additional education or courses. Welfare is very good despite the low salary.
The challengesOccasionally have to work overtime to support national examinations and sometimes teachers can be hard to work with. For day-to-day IT operations, most of the time will require to support non-IT tasks e.g. setup projectors/AV, videography/photography, helping users to report for power faults, help with moving of logistics.

Learn a lot but literally no life
The good thingsAble to understand alot of technical items albeit not being hands-on. Can really see and learn a huge vast of technical products and work with separate teams to fully enrich your experience here. Benefits and salary are one of the best in the market.
The challengesBring in work life balance and not just directorship way of handling matters. Shouting and screaming belongs to the 1990s, not now.

    Good Company to gain Experience
The good thingsThe work environment is good. The colleagues are all willing to work together as a team. But it really depends on the project you are working in.So far my good experience is working with our Defence department.
The challengesThe development projects are mostly won with much reduced cost which makes the delivery team always out of budget to get the correct people for the job.
