    Not recommended at all.
The good thingsGet to enjoy working with good colleagues all ard.
The challengesLeft because the company doesn’t appreciate the value of their employee’s long service of hard work/effort. Throughout the service of working in this company, it doesn’t reflect on any basic staff’s welfare but instead use micro managing and relied on KPI system to demoralize staff’s performances. Poor management and doesn’t treat their employees with dignity or make one feel happy to be working with all the restrictions and changing of work regulations. Not recommended to join this company. It will be at your own risk!

The good thingsyou make great friends from your outlet
The challengesManaManagement desperately needs improvement. Despite leaving the company long ago, I still hear ongoing issues through my connections, and it has only gotten worse over time. The company shows little concern for employee well-being and exploits staff despite the revenue they generate. Work schedules make it nearly impossible for employees with families to maintain any work-life balance, while unrealistic KPIs drain employees physically and mentally. Although medical leave is an entitlement, it negatively affects performance ratings and may lead to retrenchment or termination. Many long-serving employees have been retrenched under the excuse of “company restructuring” without severance, and are only offered roles in sister companies starting from zero losing all prior tenure and progress.

Toxic micromanaging manager. HR sucks too.
The good things- Near MRT - WFH 2 days - Colleagues are nice (other departments)
The challenges- Workload is overwhelming yet manager does not know how to delegate tasks properly, only know how to play blame game - 24/7 scolding - HR is incompetent - Low pay

The good things- The office is close to MRT stations - No strict and weird rules - Have WFH
The challenges- 10 days annual leave - Micromanage superior - Poor management, no structure

In love of the energy working in Owndays.
The good thingsI am able to gain more knowledge: about the brand, as a promoter and improve my cashiering skills, and also on my customer service. I realized I was able to work under pressure as there was a day that we were short of manpower but I was able to manage the sales floor and cashiering all myself during the peak period.
The challengesThere were not any challenges while working in this company.

The company felt like a family
The good thingsI enjoyed working there. The people are fun. It does not involve much stress. As a part time sales staff, I need to ensure that the customer is served well and we help them choose the proper glasses for their face type, each day is different as we have to work with people from all walks of life.
The challengesThere are times the management would add new rules with inhibit self expression, rules like hair colour and posture. But they do listen to your opinions when the rule is implemented.

The good thingsEveryone is working as a team and a healthy environment to work at. Great benefit for staff too!
The challengesNeed to keep up with the fast pace working environment. Really need to enjoy and have passion in what you do, study the product knowledge and the complicated price system.

    Always a joy
The good thingsTeamwork and communication is always present, is like a family although we might have our differences but we still work as one and look at each other on the same eye level. Your hard work and time you spent at work is really worth it. Lets not talk about the customer but more of the colleagues you are working with! Even your manager categorizes him or herself as one of us so there is no superiority issue so I see it as all is good.
The challengesIt would have to be the different lens and different questions that customer asked, you have to prepare the knowledge that different people will ask, not just the job scope but also the place that you are working in. Always guiding customers and not hard sell. Different frames suits different people so fashion is incorporated.

The good thingsIt gives out a friendly environment to new comers. New staffs will not feel upset if they did not mean to do something wrong because the seniors are understanding. They will make sure that newcomers will learn tactfully. Owndays give chances for staffs to grow.
The challengesBeing promoted to HR asst from sales without any background or experience was an interesting twist of life event. The in-house recruitment really allows staff to grow their way in the company. Hence, with no experience in HR department, I had to struggle on how to do certain things in a certain way. After 6 months of doing the same routine, I manage to grasp hold even though challenges keep coming
