PCF Sparkletots overwhelms teachers with excessive workloads, lack of support, no relief staff, and additional administrative duties, leading to stress, burnout, and frustration despite management being aware of these challenges.
The good thingsThe curriculum is pre-prepared, requiring only modifications. The organization also offers professional development opportunities through training and workshops to help educators enhance their skills.
The challengesWe face overwhelming workloads handling paperwork admin task and parent communication Despite having admin staff, we must manage unresponsive parents and organize field trips. There's no relief staff, even when management knows in advance, leaving usoverworked, leading to burnout/frustrations.

    High turnover of Centre Admins
The good thingsSeeing the children in school, do make our stress goes away
The challengesBelow are the key challenges I faced as a Centre Admin: 1. Lack of Proper Guidance: There was minimal support or training provided to help new staff navigate the role. This lack of guidance left us struggling to perform effectively, often leading to confusion about our primary responsibilities. 2. Unreliable Leadership: Managers appeared approachable and caring on the surface but were quick to shift blame when issues arose. This created an environment of distrust and left staff feeling unsupported. 3. Blurred Boundaries: The nature of the job heavily depends on the Centre Principal. Unfortunately, in my case, boundaries were not respected, and unrealistic expectations were imposed. 4. Unreasonable Additional Responsibilities: - Centre Administrators were frequently tasked with duties outside our job scope, such as covering teachers during their breaks or assisting with food preparation without proper certifications. Despite raising concerns about these tasks, we were told that "Centre Administrators should not draw the line." This left us feeling unheard and undervalued. - Volunteer Work Under Pretext: We were also scheduled to participate in various activities like assisting at old folks' homes or attending meet-the-people sessions, presented as "volunteer work." While giving back to the community is meaningful, these activities felt like mandatory assignments rather than voluntary contributions. These issues often left us unable to focus on our core responsibilities, which is incredibly disheartening. I hope the organization takes these concerns seriously and implements changes to provide better support and clarity for its staff.

The challengesThere's no much career progression, but maybe stable for the staff. It is difficult to score for performance appraisal.
