What’s it like working at Revolution Media?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Revolution Media appreciated the friendly and professional colleagues, as well as the learning opportunities and amenities such as a good pantry, location, and flexibility. However, there were several potential challenges mentioned, including issues with management's direction, thinking, and understanding of processes. A common concern was the lack of work-life balance, with expectations to work overtime, on weekends, and respond outside of normal working hours. Additionally, some employees felt that tasks assigned were often out of their job scope, with additional work being delegated at the last minute.

Good people, pay could be better
The good thingsI saw a number of one star reviews and thought I should write this. I have not experienced all the negative treatment alleged in the other reviews. However, I do not work closely with the management. Nevertheless, the company has staff who has worked for them for upwards of 5 years. So it can't be that bad lah. The colleagues are nice, cooperative and professional. The job scope for me is reasonable. The management is not a stickler for age and experience. They are willing to promote and give a higher salary to young and capable people who can take on extra workload.
The challengesYou need to have good PR if you are working closely with the bosses. And you need to think on the spot. You must be willing to work overtime when required. This is also the same in other publishing houses that I have worked at because of the deadlines and (expected) delays from various parties. For me personally, I wish the pay could be higher. But my position is quite junior so too bad.
