Declining Morale and Concerns Over Leadership Transparency, Fairness, and Accountability
The good thingsGenerally people are friendly and company has good benefits
The challengesTaking this opportunity to share the experience working at Rolls-Royce Solutions Asia (Tukang). Team morale has noticeably declined over the past year, following the recent Senior manager promotion that has been a concern. There is a general perception that the promotion process lacked transparency, with perceived favoritism of the director influencing the decision, affecting the trust and confidence within the team. There are instances where HR processes are perceived as being applied in ways more with management preferences than employee support, contributing to a less open working environment. Currently there is a strong focus on hiring technically capable engineers, with unclear expectations. This has led to uneven distribution of responsibilities among the team, as workloads are not managed equitably. Overall, I encourage prospective candidates to do thorough research and ask detailed questions about team structure, management style, and expectations before joining.

    Amazing and unique workplace
The good thingsProfessional interactions between the first line management and technicians. Ever since the changed of Operational Director, micro managing of staff is no longer a practice. The people around great and supportive as long as you've earn the trust and you will be in the good list.
The challengesHuge decisions are all made in the UK, hence production still carries on while decision is on pending (especially during holidays). And at times may require to reverse its processes due to rejections.

    Big Company, Great for Freshies
The good thingsThe people at work are great and fun. Environment is good, Clean. No pressure by Team or Production Leads during work, with \"Just do your best\" Attitude. Everyone works as a team. Grea Work Experience, chances of travelling to UK for work/training is high. Everyone is given the chance to go. Promotion not really based on Seniority, but on Attitude at work. Great Stepping Stone for Fresh Grads!
The challengesBetter planning. Planners do planning according to \"Data\" but has little info on the Process/Procedures of the Build Line, and how its actually completed. Delays of Product/Parts arrival. We just need better planning, but theyre improving and listening to employees. New \"End-Of-Year\" Target for Delivery to customer, Difficult but Achievable.
