Social Innovation Park Ltd (SIP) is an impartial, not-for-profit organisation based in Singapore that incubates social entrepreneurs and innovators worldwide to create high-impact, sustainable solutions to social needs.Our signature event, Global Social Innovators Forum (GSIF) (http://www.socialinnovatorsforum.org/, http://www.facebook.com/socialinnovatorsforum ) is an annual two-day forum in Singapore that seeks to build a global & regional community of change-makers. It is fast becoming Asia’s cutting-edge platform for world-class leaders and innovators from the 3’P’ sectors (Private, Public, People) to collaboratively create new paradigms and solutions to economic, social and political challenges. Every year, we attract between 50-80 high-profile speakers and over 300 delegates from 25-35 countries. GSIF has garnered much publicity in prestigious media such as The Wall Street Journal, BBC, CNBC and Xin Hua News.Another of our key initiative, the Pop and Talent Hub (PaTH) program has provided self-employment opportunities for more than 100 local social entrepreneurs from marginalized communities. We have inspired and incubated many local social enterprises such as Social Enterprise Association, O School, Laksania and Teddy Tots, to name a few.SIP's collaborations with Mediacorp and Channel News Asia have also resulted in many signature programs such as the 8-part TV series “Changemakers”, “Social Inc”, and “Cradle of Life”.To educate and empower the community, on a regular basis, SIP organises complimentary sessions of Giants in Conversation (GIC) that feature distinguished speakers from around the world to inspire individuals from all backgrounds who are interested in social entrepreneurship and innovation.Through its many initiatives, SIP has inspired thousands across the world and won the meritorious Most Prestigious Brand Award (Singapore) in 2009. This makes us the youngest ever organization to receive such an award.
