Employees appreciate the welcoming, friendly and pleasant working environment at The Tanglin Club, with good support from colleagues and staff. Staff benefits are valued, including free meals and activities organised by HR. The opportunity to serve members with quality food and beverage products is seen as rewarding, and the 5-day work week schedule is appreciated.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as work/life balance concerns due to long and irregular working hours in some roles. Toxic and not understanding superiors.
The good things5 days work week. Free supper for takeaway if work full shift till closing hours.
The challengesToxic superiors. Hard work does not rewards you and take you to be granted at times. Superiors have very high expectations which they themselves also cannot met and expect the subordinates to meet their high expectations resulting in high staffs turnover rates. Long and irregular working hours till very late hours past midnight, 1am, 2am, 3am etc. Heavy and many workloads, fatigue as heavy carrying of tables and chairs required. Eg: Shifting of heavy tables and chairs to 1st floor from 2nd floor to 3rd floor to basement floor. Internal different departments sometimes have disputes with one another. Not a good working and healthy environment to work in.
