Our customers include well-known MNCs, and major industrial players.Tien Yuan Chemical Pte Ltd was incorporated in Singapore on 11 February 1972.We started with a factory in Jurong, manufacturing mainly menthol crystals and dementholised peppermint oil.In the 1980s, we started the production and sales of other essential oils such as Eucalytus oil, Eucalyptol, Eugenol, Clove Leaf oil, etc.In 1980, we registered our own brand name “Snowpeak” in Singapore and our menthol crystals, de-mentholised peppermint oil and Eugenol were sold under this brand.Over the years, our brand name has gained recognition in the market with sales of menthol crystals increasing from approximately 250 tons per annum in the early 1980s to more than 2,100 tons per annum by 2002. Since then, we have sold an average of 2,500 tons (inclusive of China) of menthol crystal per annum.In 1998, we completed the construction of our factory in Kunshan, China, and have our production capacity of menthol crystal doubled from 1,000 tons to 2,000 tons per annum.Today, China and Singapore have a capacity of 2,500 tons and 1,200 tons respectively of menthol crystal. At the same time, China has a capacity to produce 2,000 tons of other essential oils, while Singapore could produce 1,000 tons.We currently serve customers of the following industries:a. Toothpaste & Oral Hygiene;b. Medicated Oil, Balm & Plaster;c. Flavour & Fragrance Compound;d. Personal Care & Toiletry;e. Confectionery;f. Tobacco; andg. Aromatherapy & Spa.
