    The good thingsAll they have to do is hire you. To be called one of their offshore crew makes you marketable enough when looking for another job. The company will provide you with all the necessary training for your position, or send you to Training Centers free of charge. You will receive benefits you don't get when you work in the Philippines. They don't judge you by age or education for promotion.
    The challengesYou can't get away from the fact that you live in a 3rd world country. The salary is based on where you live and would be far more less compared to like living in the US, working at the same position. You have to be very understanding because you will work with different cultures and learn how to accept your differences and avoid conflict.
