What's it like to be a Trainer?
Trainers teach students or trainees and provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve certain qualifications, licences, certifications or accreditations. After providing learning materials and training, Trainers evaluate their students’ performance against certain competencies and identify gaps in learning. They ensure their course or curriculum caters to the needs of students.

- Recording student progress throughout the course programme.
- Keeping records of student assessments and results.

How to become a Trainer
While not essential, a qualification relating to the subject area you wish to teach can prepare you for a career as a Trainer.

Complete a polytechnic qualification or university degree in the field you wish to teach.
