Unjust treatment persists in the workplace, where competent and diligent employees are burdened with responsibilities, while those who are unproductive or dishonest evade tasks, make excuses, and shift blame for their own poor performances. Lack of respect prevails in the workplace due to the absence of proper controls and disciplinary measures, with managers themselves often leading the charge in mistreating capable employees. Promotions often reflect the 'Peter Principle,' with managers elevated beyond their capabilities, leading to favoritism, misuse of authority, and a toxic work culture in the industry.
The good thingsCompetitive salaries and leave benefits.
The challengesIncompetent managers plus incompetent and lazy co-workers.

Won't recommend for people around me, if anyone wants to work in healthcare should direct under the institution instead because would have better growth opportunities and work welfare.
The good thingsClose colleagues but no support from management and bosses..
The challenges-Messy organization -bias management -no proper guidance -nick picking boss -no people manager and manager play politics and boycotting of staff -messy work instruction with no consistency -no support form management

Management and bosses may seems nice but in actual fact it doesn't. Need to be very good in talking and interacting or else you can't survive in this company
The good thingsAnnual Leave benefit is more than the usual companies
The challengesLack of training and no SOP. You got to show you know and you can manage within 3months or else you will be sentenced

Great place to learn and contribute to Public Healthcare
The good thingsThe meaningfulness of playing a part in Public Healthcare Supply Chain. Lots of opportunity to learn and progress.
The challengesTo be honest, lots of opportunity comes with lots of challenges to overcome too. System wise is definitely not the best in class currently - new system is under review and going live soon. Well, that is how individuals learn, work and progress together. People here are generally nice!

Buyer role but like administrative role
The good thingsUsed to have a group of nice colleagues but they left subsequently.
The challengesThe "proper" procurement process is just going through the momentum. It is definitely just an admin role facilitating the paperwork.

A meaningful career with good exposure to the healthcare industry
The good thingsChallenging yet a meaningful career. Good learning experience as well as good exposure to healthcare industry. An opportunity to contribute towards the public healthcare.
The challengesWith the increase in workload and changing environment, staying focus at work has been challenging especially during covid. However, management has been putting in alot of effort to provide support and encouragement.

Good environment for learning and development
The good thingsEnjoyed working with the nurses and ops when everyone works towards and support the mission. Remuneration package is fair and reasonable as compared to other places. Periodic townhall you address issues faced by staff.
The challengesIndividuals whom only thinks for themselves and bosses that aren’t leaders. But all in all, C suites are nice and will take time to talk to employees especially CEO.

    Good mission, good vision
The good thingsAlthough I have left, I have to say that the CEO is very nice, although I only met him once. Very genuine. Some of my colleagues are very nice too, very helpful, like those in HQ office, like the development office. He will help answer my queries regardless. His people in the office is also very nice. Very helpful and always will be there when there is a question, regardless what they are. You can ask the ground pharmacists, all of them like the development office.
The challengesIt is confusing at times to know who do what and what would be the plans. Everything appears to be so secretive. I hope that information could be faster. I also hope that everyone could be as helpful as the people in development office because development office really helped me a lot. If you need help, go to them, they will definitely help you. It is just that I hope everyone could be like that, have ownership to the mission.

A good company to work in
The good thingsGood boss, good benefits, good working environment, good colleagues, and good outlook.
The challengesIf there are 2 things that I hope that it would improve on - communications and timeliness in disseminating information and answering queries, especially from HR. HRBP is very responsive, but the rest of the people in HR doesn't seem to be very quick in their response. To make it worse, they will take very long to reply for the simplest thing.

Review as a new hire who joined less than a year
The good thingsBosses are very encouraging on work life balance. Work is manageable once you've achieved the know-how, and there are many opportunities to develop oneself.
The challengesBeing still a relatively new company and with the current pandemic situation at hand, it is definitely slightly more challenging as many are from different institutions previously, which would mean that employees are more attuned to the culture there first and foremost. The company would need to address these concerns, while at the same time proving that they can bring the employees to shift their perspective in order to align accordingly.

Opportunities to contribute and shine for Company
The good thingsOpportunities to develop and bring own experience to bring across new ideas of doing things.
The challengesDue to the set up is new, the Company requires time to build their foundation and operation smoothness. Overall, when given national goals due to pandemic period, the employees worked together to achieve and it's nice to see the outcome is positive and recognized by the stakeholders.
