What’s it like working at CNS Connections?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at CNS Connections appreciate the exposure to different kinds of events, including large-scale events with major clients, as well as the opportunities to learn, particularly for fresh graduates and interns. They also value the supportive colleagues within the company.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as concerns about low pay and expectations of overtime and weekend work without additional compensation. Work-life balance is also an issue, with long hours, limited time off, and expectations to work even when unwell. Additionally, employees have noted issues with management and communication, including unclear briefs, lack of context, and a perceived lack of professionalism.

    Poor Work Life Balance
The good thingsHonestly, it all depends on how much they willing to expose you to different kinds of events available
The challengesThe pay is very low given that you worked. No OT pay, u will be overworked and they will always be understaffs regardless. Taking an mc is an issue even though u are legitimately unwell. No work life balance, its better to work in this company if you got no family

Join if you want to make your life hard
The good thingsFriendly colleague, sadly most of them left.
The challengesDon't ever trust what they promise. Will ask to work full days on weekends and said will replace them. Any offdays or long hours overtime replacement will remain a myth. Dont expect to feel any professionalism in the office. Get comfortable with unclear briefs and no explanation. You are expected to know everything. If anything went south you are the one to blame. Will always get brief without any context.

Be on standby most of the time.
The good thingsFriendly colleagues, exposure to a lot of big events like Disney & Sony. Food provided by Boss at times when we are working overtime.
The challengesMainly politics from the Top. Not professional in the sense of not knowing how to separate between personal and work. No proper employee schedule on resting days after midnight jobs. Over work their staffs, no payslips nor employment letter provided. Top management too calculative, always finding faults and giving employees a hard time.
