The challenges1. The company do not inform beforehand or give notice to you that overtime is a norm there, they assume you can overtime and just continue working. And do not provide OT pay as they think it’s a norm there (Long working hours!!)
2. Workers there some may be friendly but not very approachable.
3. The company isn’t organised at all. Your break time differs everyday.
4. The company do not have work life balance. All they do is keep working. Especially they do not provide interaction among colleagues as everyone has their break alone and cannot go to lunch together.
5. They have lack of manpower probably thus, everyone has to OT.

A Learning Experience
The good thingsUgene Lab was the first time I fully committed to a job for a period of time, and I personally found the place to be really nurturing. The supervisors, while strict, are approachable: all you have to do is to be sincere and responsible as well. I have learnt a lot from them in my time here, and highly recommend it to any intern willing to push their limits.
The challengesThe working hours are really long, and self-imposed overtime seems to be part of the company's culture even though it is not actively enforced. I would recommend discussing this during the employment process if this is an issue for you, especially if you plan to stay long term.
