Above everything else, gas-lighting culture is a very neglected yet serious factor that is turning alot of us away from the SPED sector and its services, when gaslighting is not addressed fairly or timely, it brings on mental anguish to the affected person. Management needs to reflect, though chances are slim in real time.
The good thingsthe regular work we do with clients and the little "achievements" we attained, during our interactions with clients. seeing our efforts "return in form of tiny progresses made by clients"
The challengesthe regressions that clients displays, that re-occurs in the most unpredictable ways but yet we know it is part and parcel of the work we do, mentally most challenging to tell ourselves - we are doing our level best day in, day out.
