What’s it like working at BreadTalk Group?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at BreadTalk Group consistently highlight that colleagues are friendly and supportive, often describing them as the best part of working at the company. The staff benefits are appreciated, including discounts across various brands and healthcare perks. Additionally, there are learning opportunities in areas such as baking, team management and sales, with flexibility to try new approaches.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. The workload can be overwhelming, with frequent unpaid overtime and limited rest time. Management practices vary, with some employees noting that upper management may focus heavily on results. Work/life balance can be challenging due to long operational hours and overtime expectations, particularly for full-time staff. The company experiences high staff turnover, especially in the head office. Finally, systems and processes could be more streamlined and user-friendly, as work is not always automated and may require multiple approvals.
