I joined this company [X] straight after graduating and have stayed loyal ever since—never jumped, never job-hopped. But now I’m finally trying to switch, and it’s been discouraging. Sent out tons of applications, but barely any replies. Is it because the market is not good right now? Or is my resume not attractive enough because I’ve never made a move before? First time going through this, so I’m not sure what’s normal. Help pls!

Hey, I totally get how frustrating that feels. I was in a similar boat, loyal for years, then hit a wall trying to move. The market is pretty slow lately, but don’t let that discourage you.
