Driving/riding for a living seems flexible, but some days really make me question if it’s worth it. Heavy rain, rude customers, endless traffic jams etc. By the time I factor in fuel, maintenance, and the occasional parking/summons, my earnings barely cover the stress. And now, with so many new riders flooding the market, competition gets tougher. Some days, the orders r just not enough & the fares so low it doesn’t even feel worth it. How do you guys maximize earnings without burning out?

SG riders and drivers—how are you all surviving with these crazy petrol prices and platform commission cuts? 😩 The money used to be good, but now, some days aren’t even worth going out. And don’t get me started on unreasonable customers who expect 5-star service for peanuts. For those still doing this full-time, what’s the best way to maximize earnings? Or is it better to just quit and find a stable job?

With the new law for better gig worker protections starting Jan 2025, I’m wondering how this will impact our earnings. More CPF contributions and injury insurance sound great, but will platform operators tweak rates or reduce flexibility to cover costs? Feels like a win, but also like there’s a catch. Will this change how you work, or are you sticking to the same game plan? Curious how others are preparing for this shift.

To all grab drivers out there, i know for sure one of you would have done this. What make up stories that you create your own just to bluff the customers? I heard so many stories from my friends, who's just a regular passenger always encounter different wierd stories told by the drivers.

Got laid off recently for no concrete reason making me thought of doing part-time job like delivering. it's been two weeks already and seeing people in offices, knowing I used to have that too makes me feel sad and useless. Haven’t even told my family yet… don’t know how to. Feels like I lost more than just a job. Like I lost my direction. Dunno where else to go or who to talk to. :(

Multi-apping means more job options to earn extra money, am i right? Oh i work as food delivery. multi-app means (Grab, Foodpanda & etc.) but also more hassle switching between apps. If only stick to one, is simple, but I might waste time waiting. Any riders here who’ve tried both? Which one actually helps earn more in the long run?

Those who’ve worked as delivery riders in Singapore, which platform do you think is the easiest to navigate, apply to, and earn decent money from? Between GrabFood, Foodpanda, Deliveroo, or any others, are there clear differences in payout systems, incentives, or even rider support? Thinking of trying it part-time too

Have you encounter any rude customers? I’ve had my fair share, and every time i felt like i'm getting the blame when truth is , customers attitude is the worst! Some people just have no patience or respect. Any tips on handling them without losing your cool? Share pls so I can avoid sending food to these places.
