I heard being a rider can also cause many stress. the pressure of sending out food on time and dealing with traffic can be exhausting. Some days, I feel if i were in their shoes... i dont think i can take it and do it for rest of my day. How do you all manage the struggles while still keeping doing it everyday?

Driving/riding for a living seems flexible, but some days really make me question if it’s worth it. Heavy rain, rude customers, endless traffic jams etc. By the time I factor in fuel, maintenance, and the occasional parking/summons, my earnings barely cover the stress. And now, with so many new riders flooding the market, competition gets tougher. Some days, the orders r just not enough & the fares so low it doesn’t even feel worth it. How do you guys maximize earnings without burning out?

SG riders and drivers—how are you all surviving with these crazy petrol prices and platform commission cuts? 😩 The money used to be good, but now, some days aren’t even worth going out. And don’t get me started on unreasonable customers who expect 5-star service for peanuts. For those still doing this full-time, what’s the best way to maximize earnings? With the new law for better gig worker protections starting Jan 2025, I’m wondering how this will impact our earnings. More CPF contributions and injury insurance sound great, but will platform operators tweak rates or reduce flexibility to cover costs? Feels like a win, but also like there’s a catch. Got laid off recently for no concrete reason making me thought of doing part-time job like delivering. it's been two weeks already and seeing people in offices, knowing I used to have that too makes me feel sad and useless. Haven’t even told my family yet… don’t know how to. Feels like I lost more than just a job. Like I lost my direction. Dunno where else to go or who to talk to. :(

Multi-apping means more job options to earn extra money, am i right? Oh i work as food delivery. multi-app means (Grab, Foodpanda & etc.) but also more hassle switching between apps. If only stick to one, is simple, but I might waste time waiting. Any riders here who’ve tried both? Which one actually helps earn more in the long run?
