Feeling absolutely drained every.single.day. Ever since I joined this company, it’s been non-stop stress. Boss wants to be CC-ed in every email & questions every word. We've to submit daily progress reports even if there’s nothing urgent. I also have back-to-back Zooms from 9am-9pm, with barely any breaks. We're not allowed to excuse ourselves (from meetings) even after working hours. I’m seriously exhausted. What should I do? I’m only a few months in and already feel like I’m burning out.

35F, married with a kid. Since becoming a mother, my priorities have changed but my colleagues don’t seem to get it. They still expect me to work late, reply at night, & spend weekends on tasks like I have ZERO responsibilities at home. Even when I take leave to care for my child, work keeps coming in non-stop. I want to set boundaries, but IDK how to. Partially I'm to be blamed because I've always been a workaholic. But now it's different. How do i tell them to respect my time & space?

Was amused after seeing this resignation letter, bro woke up and chose violence. Ya better be straightforward right niao, GenZ! That's gonna be few weeks of awkwardness. 😂 But seriously, I feel for him as I'm somewhat in the same position. It's very frustrating. How do you think I can relay this professionally to my boss and company?

Hi, I’m wondering if JobStreet really works ? ??Because I have applied for about 100 jobs and haven’t received any responses—whether it’s a rejection or still under review. I don’t get any updates at all. It feels like throwing water into a desert—nothing comes back, and nothing changes.

I recently left a job during my probation period, and it felt like a tough decision. I realized early on that the work environment wasn’t what I expected, and the job responsibilities didn’t align with what was promised during the interview. I didn’t want to waste my time or the company’s, so I made the call to leave. When I informed my manager, they were understanding but also disappointed. Has anyone else had to leave a job this early? How did your company react?

However, I understand I have 5 years gaps of not technically employed and no skills. What should I do?

Hi, I’ve Diploma In Accounting since 2015. Since I’ve graduated, I didn’t have much working experience in related fields. Now it’s 2023 and I almost 30 years old, do you think I have the opportunity to work as Account Assistant again in any company? Please advise.

Hi all, need some advice on career switch as I find my current job has no further progression and no point continue staying here. I’m 32 this year, working in Logistics industry as a Logistics Executive drawing lower end of 3k. Been in this same company for 11 years already. It’s my first full-time job ever since I ORD from NS. Thinking to switch to be a Supply Chain Analyst / Material or Demand Planner but I have no qualification like diploma/degree. Highest is ‘N’ level. Is it still possible?
