I’ve been working remotely full-time since Dec 2024 and while the flexibility is great, I’m starting to wonder… what kind of company benefits do remote workers actually get? My current perks are super basic. They just offer annual leave and personal insurance. Do your companies offer things like WFH allowance, wellness credits, internet subsidies, or equipment support? Curious how other remote workers are being supported. Would love to hear what’s out there so I can ask for these next time

How do you all deal with subordinates who are always MIA when working from home? I have one team member who consistently takes 30 mins to 2 hours just to reply to messages. It becomes a real issue when we need to make quick decisions or solve things on the spot. I don’t want to micromanage, but it’s affecting the team’s flow. Any advice on how to address this without sounding too controlling or accusing?

Being a working mum with two kids is really hard. I’ve had to sacrifice looking for a better-paying job just so I can work around my kids’ schedule. What’s worse is I only bring home $1,900 a month. I honestly don’t understand why there aren’t more work-from-home options for mothers. It’s exhausting and overwhelming, especially when I still have so many financial commitments to cover. Does anyone know of any good work-from-home opportunities? I have a local diploma and I work extremely hard!

I’ve been checking out remote job listings on and off, but sometimes the market feels dry… then suddenly there’s a wave of openings. 🫠 is there a specific time of year when companies post more remote vacancies? Looking for a good WFH job isn’t as easy as I thought. Many jobs say “remote” but still want you to go to the office sometimes, or they get filled super quickly. I’m still trying to find something that suits my skills and is truly flexible. After becoming a mom, it's very hard for me to leave my needy child at the nursery and had to quit my FT job. Now I'm really hoping to find a remote job that's within SG itself so I dont hv to work odd hours. How do i tailor my resume to be more noticeable?

Just started a remote job and honestly, I love it! But my biggest struggle isn’t the work itself… it’s convincing my family that my job is real. Since I don’t go into an office, they keep asking, “Are you sure this is legit?” or “Why would a real company let you work from home?” I’ve shown them my contract, the laptop they gave me, even my payslip but still, they act like it’s not a “real” job. It’s frustrating and embarrassing. How do you explain remote work to people who just don’t get it?

I’ve been a Mac user my whole life, so starting a new job with a Windows laptop has been... rough. The shortcuts, UI, even basic functions feel so foreign and it’s really slowing me down. I’m wondering, is it okay to raise this with my manager or IT and ask for a Mac instead? Or will that make me sound too high-maintenance/demanding? Anyone else faced this before? Changing will take some time meaning some works might delay but I really2 can't with Windows. So awkward using it at home
