What i want to know is, its my first time of me joining a company less than a month, i didnt turn up to work by accident cause i was sick but straight away i called them and asked is it okay for my to get and NPL or i could go get mc. They said.. we have decided to let you go. Uhm? I said , i know i did this one mistake, was there any other? They said oh no but this is tanking our manpower of what you did today. Im just there like uhm okay, there is no other way for me to stay? Dead answered NO.

I decided to move on from my previous job because I was facing some challenges with a colleague who was much older than me. When I tried to address the issue with him and remind him of his responsibilities, he denied everything. I eventually spoke to our boss about it, but she felt that I couldn't handle the situation. How should I explain this to my future employer when they ask me why I left my previous job?

Im working 12hr shifts. Previously, we need to submit 1month ahead for our roster which is normal. Then slowly, it changes to 8weeks. And now, my hiring manager is requesting for 3months ahead all because he is tired of reviewing and gaslight us by saying “its also good for us to plan ahead”. I hope no one gets a boss that only thinks of himself. Starting 2026 with a new nonsense

2025 is the worst year of my life. On december i started a new job. on the 4th day on site, i failed to answer some of the question from my manager (not a common knowledge or basic engineering but the smallest detail i overlook which is one tube of scaffold is missing from the thousand of it in a structure. On the 5th day (Friday) was my last day. luckily the next monday i already got gotother interview and got accepted on the spot. felt relieved eventhough the salary was 30% lower.

My advice is don’t take every rejection personally. I used to take it really hard whenever my boss rejected my work. I thought she didn’t like me and wanted to see me fail. But after a while, I realized she wasn’t being harsh for nothing. She's actually training me to think sharper and push myself further. Honestly, if she hadn’t been that tough, I don’t think I’d be where I am today. She taught me valuable lessons, and instead of seeing stumbles as failures, I now see them as chances to grow.

I’ve been a contractor in a mnc bank for the past 2 years.. and recently my boss is very emo, raising his voice and shouting to me when he is in office .. is this a sign my days are numbered? He roti prata excessively to the extend I thought it was my fault when all the while i was only executing his instructions.
