Bro been seeing more job listings mentioning blockchain technology lately, not just in crypto startups, but in banks, supply chain, even marketing agencies. 👀 I don’t have a tech background, but I’m super curious. What skills do you actually need to break into this field? Is coding a must, or are there non-tech roles as well (like PM, ops, compliance, etc)?

I think I got lucky with work this time. It’s only been 3 months since I joined, but my seniors have been so open in sharing what they know. Even when their schedules are packed, they still make effort to guide me, or let me sit in and observe how they handle things. Honestly, I’ve picked up A LOT just by listening to their experiences and watching how they work. Unlike my old workplace, here mentorship feels more natural, engaging and personal. Sharing my story so others take note as well.

I’m thinking of introducing the idea of remote/hybrid work to my boss, but he’s super traditional. The last time we had WFH was during COVID and even then it was alternate days only. He firmly believes “home is for resting, not working.” But I really think the company can benefit from being more progressive. Some other departments have started already. Anyone here managed to convince an old-school boss before? How do you bring it up without making it sound like you just want to chill at home?

looking at Job there are multiple openings in Tunnel M&E Managers. in 2015, I was getting arround 6K SGD, working s an Sr Electrical engineer / Sr. M&E. and today I am standing here in 2025 they are barely offering more than 10K, inflammation is high room rent is higher now in Singapore arround 3 times than 2017. I don't think it is worth to relocate again an Singapore with less than an 10K salary cause I am a family person now. what is your view on this ?
