I cam across this new info about government strategy on Ai. I feel a bit hype because they really put effort in investing funds into tech industry. Too junior to speak up? But the tech lead always ignore our ideas, I’m part of a dev team in a mid-size company. Every time us juniors suggest improvements like automating stuff or cleaning up legacy code, the tech lead brushes us off like we don’t know anything. Frustrating seriously. I know I’m not a senior, but I’m not blur either leh. Should I just keep quiet, just follow orders or bring it up somehow and stand on my ground? Will it jeopardize my work in some ways?

Just started at this “innovative” tech startup in SG — wah, never expected the systems and processes to be so disorganised. Everyone using different tools, no proper onboarding, and somehow I’m expected to "figure it out". Like bro, I code, not do internal audits 😩. Is this normal? Or did I just join a startup with no chill?

It seems like data leaks are becoming more common nowadays. Even bubble tea brands and schools aren’t safe from these breaches! As someone who works with data, it’s pretty unsettling knowing that our personal info could be exposed without us even realizing it. I’ve always trusted companies to protect my data, but with so many leaks happening, it’s hard not to worry. Are other people feeling the same, or am I just overthinking it? It just makes me question how safe our information really is.

RN constantly trying to keep up with the latest tools, but at the same time, getting frustrated with how much time I have to spend learning new software instead of actually being creative. Is it normal to feel like your creativity is getting stifled because you’re always updating skills instead of just designing? How do you balance both?

Is it just me or does many Singaporean designers have bad taste? I see ads in public and i'm like WHAT IS THAT.... So ugly fonts and patterns. Many of these artworks wouldnt be approved overseas tbh. Everyone also likes to follow trends instead of going for designs that are evergreen. But then again, style is subjective too. Anybody else feels this way too or disagrees with me?

Okay, so I recently updated to iOS 18 and wah, I don’t know what happened, but my phone and laptop are dying so much faster now. 😩 It’s like one minute they’re fully charged, and the next minute, they’re on 20% even though I haven’t been using them much! What’s going on? Anyone else facing this issue or know what I can do to fix it? I’ve tried turning off all the battery-draining apps and stuff, but it doesn’t seem to help much. Anyone have any tips or tricks? So sian!
