I remember one month my sales were so-so. Then I decided to try something totally different. I started sending personalised voice notes to warm leads instead of just cold texts or emails. Just a quick “Hey [Name], saw you checked out our package. Got something I think you’d love!” kind of thing. Didn’t expect much but wow, the responses doubled. Suddenly I felt human to them. Lesson learnt. People buy from people, not just profiles or templates. Try it out! Who knows it might for you as well

Following up with clients is always a boring part. I used to just send a standard “Just checking in!” email, but honestly, most of the time, it got ignored. The hard truth: SG clients want 5star marketing service on a kopitiam budget. And don’t even get me started on KOLs—charging insane rates but their engagement is meh. 😩 Some expect you to handle everything, from strategy to execution, and then act shocked when results don’t magically happen overnight. 32, working in marketing, and lately we're using a lot of AI for copywriting, visuals, and even video editing bcz it’s faster, cost-effective, and honestly, pretty good. But because of this, we’ve started cutting budgets for designers and video editors. I know it’s just business, and everyone else is doing it too… but it still feels off. Is using AI for marketing unethical, or is this just the future? How do you justify your budget cutting to these real people working behind the scene?
