Funny lah how some companies advertise their job vacancies. "Entry-level" but "must have 2-3 years of experience". Are you being for real right now? How can these two paradoxical statements exist together in a job requirement? Entry-level means it's suitable for ALL candidates with or without job experience. You are supposed to teach new comers from scratch, and not expecting them to ALREADY know the way around. If you don't open doors for us fresh grads, how can we get experience?? Tell me!

Tell me who is at fault. Is it me or HR?? Since graduated, I've applied over 200 jobs and only secured 4 interviews. As if that's not bad enough, I get only ONE job offer and that too, they're giving me lower than my expected salary. HR say, take it or leave it like I'm a 2nd or 3rd choice. 🫩 I tailor every application as much as I can, I always follow up after applying and keep improving my resume. I genuinely don't know what I'm doing wrong! Or is this just the way the market is rite now?

need some honest advice. I told HR my expected salary is $4k (which I thought was fair), but she said that’s “too high” for a fresh grad and the best they can offer is $3.3k. Now I’m confused… most of my friends started at $4k or more, so I’m wondering if I’m being lowballed or if this is normal for certain companies. Should I just take it for the experience or hold out for something better?

Pls tell me if I'm making the biggest mistake of my life or if I'm on the right path. A fresh grad, 6 months jobless, finally got an offer. Salary SGD2.5k + 7days AL. The company is quite small, hence the salary but they promise that I'll surely learn a lot and gain good exposure from working there. My family says just take the offer & keep applying elsewhere for better opportunity. My GF says it's too little, not worth it, and that I should keep looking. I'm torn in between. Pls help.

I’ve only been working for 5 months but I’ve never felt this broken. After making a huge mistake, my boss humiliated me in front of THE. WHOLE. OFFICE! Since then, I feel incompetent, inadequate, and scared to make any decision on my own. I second-guess every move, relying on a coworker to cross check my work until people view me as dependent and a nuisance. I feel like a burden, like I’m failing before my career even starts. 💔 How do I rebuild my confidence when I feel this worthless??😢

I'm actively looking for jobs and some of my close friends have already secured theirs right after graduation. Lucky them! BUT what surprises me is that they're all openly sharing their 1st salary to make sure nobody in the group gets a lowball offer. I'm super thankful for my friends because they help set a benchmark and give me confidence to ask for what I'm worth during interviews. Friends like this are to die for! No jealousy among us, only supportive friendship along the way. ✌️❤️

Dear fresh grads, don't be too quick to give up. Exhibit A: me! 🤗It’s only been a year at my current job, but I'm glad I choose to persevere. Sure, management can be unpredictable, and the pace can be intense, but I’ve learned to adapt and see challenges as opportunities. All thanks to my boss & colleagues who are very passionate in their jobs & have the highest patience when teaching me things I don't know about. I may still make mistakes, but at least I'm not alone in this journey 😌

I already applied over 50 jobs but i heard back from none. it’s been a month+ & i’m slowly losing my mind. 🫠 i used famous resume template & followed all the tips all over the internet, but nothing. starting to think maybe my resume just blending in with the other 10,000 fresh grads out there. how do y’all make yours actually stand out? like fr, how do i make a recruiter STOP scrolling and say “ok this IS THE ONE”? pls help a struggling soul 🙃
