Got laid off last week after spending almost 7 years in corporate. No warning, the reasons of laying me off were vague. Totally not fine but move along, I’ve applied to tons of jobs, but no replies yet. Now I’m just sitting here wondering how to survive the next few months. Should I look into passive/part-time jobs? Desperately need work… and I gotta say, even those scammy “earn from home” ads really look tempting.

Entry-level roles ask for min 2 years of working experience. Is this the norm now?? What happened to give me a job first so i can GAIN experience?🤬 Sorry guys, i'm honestly SO EXHAUSTED. It’s been A YEAR of nonstop applications, futile interviews & rejection emails. First few months, I stayed hopeful. But now my family keeps asking, "Still no job meh?" I’ve tried everything! Networking, career fairs, upskilling.. but the job market is brutal. How do i keep being positive in this situation??

I’ve been feeling really disheartened lately. I’ve submitted over 200 job applications over past 8 months, and I still can’t figure out why they’ve all been rejected. I just wish there was some feedback or anything to help me understand where I’m falling short or how I can improve. For some roles, I felt like a perfect match especially when the job descriptions aligned almost exactly with my previous experience but I received an instant rejection email right away. Can someone enlighten me please

SUSSS! I'm suspecting our new team member is lying. She has a "degree" from NTU but the quality of her work, skills and knowledge are not parallel to someone from NTU. My sister studied there and i kinda know how NTU is like but when I asked this colleague abt her experience, she gave me vague answers. And she keeps on making rookie mistakes like didn't you already learn this at school? Could it be possible that she fake her certs to get a job? What can I do to investigate/expose her? 🧐

HOW TO GET A JOB IN SINGAPORE. Hello everyone, I'm from Vietnam. I once had a training work pass in SG and really liked the living environment here. Now I want to have an official job in SG but I have applied to many places but still have no response. I am quite confident about my current abilities, but I still want to develop myself further.
