Hi there! I’ve received an offer and the salary is way below my expected salary as they gave me my minimum acceptable pay. The minimum pay I gave was before knowing about the benefits. Needed some advice because the working hours are from 8.30am to 6.15pm from Monday to Friday, the travelling will take 1 hour from my home. AL is 12 days. No AWS only performance bonus. Been out of job for quite a few months now. Not a fresh grad, currently still pursuing my part time degree.

Is it just me or is the job market really tough now, even for entry-level roles? Feels like everything needs some experience nowadays for smaller roles. Back then, once you had a bit of experience, it was easier to move into junior exec roles or apply for other further Also—what to do if you apply for a role you’re really interested in, but they offer others with a lower salary than your last job? Take it, or keep looking and having risking a gap?" Wondering does the experience really matter?

I'm an NSF thats ORDing in 2 months ish. I have sent alot of resumes but I get alot of job offers to sell insurance/investments with no basic pay. I have some experience in sales, starting a startup business and a diploma. I'm expecting a 3.5k basic job, is that too high? Also, there seem to be very few companies hiring fresh graduates, if they do, they're lowballing. I need some advice, thank you.

I just got retrenched in April after working 18 years in an MNC relocating to India. At 57 years old now very difficult to work in the same industry anymore. Looking for temp or contract work first. Even apply for School Attendant job. When you have a degree or diploma why not try apply a job in school, like operation manger or executive. Still young and single things will get better.

Got laid off last week after spending almost 7 years in corporate. No warning, the reasons of laying me off were vague. Totally not fine but move along, I’ve applied to tons of jobs, but no replies yet. Now I’m just sitting here wondering how to survive the next few months. Should I look into passive/part-time jobs? Desperately need work… and I gotta say, even those scammy “earn from home” ads really look tempting.
