Accounting Associate
I'm stuck with executive role in finance handling reports, reconciliations, and all the usual number crunching. It’s stable, but I feel like I’m just repeating the same cycle every month. I see some people move into consulting with higher pay, more strategic work, exposure to different industries. Sounds like a solid upgrade, but I have no idea how to make that jump. Do I need extra certs like CFA, CPA, or even MBA? Anyone here has successfully transitioned from accounting to consulting?

I’m in that same cycle 😮💨 Thinking of pivoting too. Been brushing up on case interviews and trying to join problem-solving initiatives at work to build that "consulting" mindset. If anyone has done it without fancy certs, would love to hear more too!
