I’ve been working in finance for a lil over 7 years now and honestly… I’m thinking of quitting. The stress, the long hours, the constant rush, it’s starting to take a toll. maybe some of u will say I'm too soft, but I still want a stable career, just maybe something less intense? For those who left finance, what path did you switch to? Was it worth it? I’m open to ideas, just don’t want to feel this burnt out all the time. Salary-wise, i'm willing to downgrade.

I felt the same after 5 years. Ended up switching to compliance in a fintech firm. Still somewhat related, but more 9–6 and less fire-fighting. Took a slight pay dip, but I’m so much happier now. Your skills are transferable, just gotta explore.
