Feeling absolutely drained every.single.day. Ever since I joined this company, it’s been non-stop stress. Boss wants to be CC-ed in every email & questions every word. We've to submit daily progress reports even if there’s nothing urgent. I also have back-to-back Zooms from 9am-9pm, with barely any breaks. We're not allowed to excuse ourselves (from meetings) even after working hours. I’m seriously exhausted. What should I do? I’m only a few months in and already feel like I’m burning out.

Wow, that sounds brutal. The micromanaging alone is enough to drain anyone, let alone daily reports and non-stop Zooms till 9pm?? That’s honestly not sustainable, and definitely not normal for most workplaces. You’re not alone feeling this way—burnout is real, and it’s okay to admit that it’s too much. If things don’t improve, might be worth considering if it’s really worth staying long-term. Your health and sanity should always come first.

Just find another company and mentioned that won’t entertain any work related issues after working hours

Have you tried talking to any coworkers to see how they manage the stress and workload?

Sending you strength... Starting a new job is always not easy, and you're doing your best. Maybe give yourself a timeline? 3 or 6 months? and reassess. You deserve better, but no shame in trying first :)

Sounds so unhealthy 😞 A culture that micromanages and doesn’t respect boundaries is a huge red flag. The fact that you're only a few months in ... definitely re-consider your options. Nothing is worth your mental health honestly..

I have left definitely. I had micromanaging Boss.
Sorry to say, after I join new company I can survive and here I can perform and mentally happy.

They don't deserve you. Find new job. No amount of money can be substitutes for good mental health
