I’ve been looking into certifications to up my game, but I’m stuck on whether free certificates are worth it. I’ve come across many free courses and certifications, but I always hear that paid certs carry more weight. Is that true? Are free certs just as valuable, or do employers take them less seriously compared to paid ones? Trying to figure out whether it’s worth investing in those paid certs or if the free ones are good enough for me to boost my skills and CV. What’s your take on this?

Free doesn’t mean low quality. I’ve taken some great free ones that taught me more than pricey courses. What matters most is what you do with the knowledge, projects, case studies, etc. If you're just starting out, free is a great way to get momentum.
