I’m from a finance background, been a manager for years—but I’m thinking of moving into customer service. Some people think I’m downgrading, but I genuinely enjoy problem solving and people interaction more than crunching numbers. Is it a bad move? Is CS really easier or just a different kind of stress? Anyone here made a similar switch? Regret or relief?

For me, it’s not about “easier,” it’s about what gives you purpose. Finance can be draining if your heart’s not in it anymore. CS can be tough too, but if helping people fuels you, that stress feels different
