Senior Analyst
I’m currently a Sr. Data analyst looking to transition to an HR Data Analyst role. I’m experienced with Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts, and find HRIS systems like Oracle, ADP, and Workday intuitive. What steps can I take to prepare for this transition and enhance my chance of getting hired? Any specific skills or knowledge areas I should focus on?

I’d say focus on learning more about HR metrics like employee turnover, retention rates, and compensation analysis. Since you’re already familiar with HRIS systems, diving deeper into Workday reporting or even getting certified in one of them could make you stand out!
