I’ve been thinking of making a complete switch. maybe teaching? I enjoy explaining concepts, mentoring juniors, and making data more accessible. But moving from a technical role to education feels like a huge leap. Anyone here transitioned from corporate to teaching? How was the pay, work-life balance, and overall experience?

Switched from corporate to teaching, and while it was a huge change, it was also one of the most fulfilling decisions I’ve made. Pay depends on where you teach, public schools tend to be more stable, while private institutions can vary. Work-life balance? Expect to bring work home, but the joy of seeing students “get it” makes up for it.
