With the new law for better gig worker protections starting Jan 2025, I’m wondering how this will impact our earnings. More CPF contributions and injury insurance sound great, but will platform operators tweak rates or reduce flexibility to cover costs? Feels like a win, but also like there’s a catch. Will this change how you work, or are you sticking to the same game plan? Curious how others are preparing for this shift.

This feels like a “good news, bad news” situation. On one hand, CPF savings and injury protection are solid wins. On the other, I wouldn’t be surprised if companies try to offset costs with lower rates or stricter policies. If that happens, the trade-off might not be worth it for those who rely on flexibility la. I’ll probably test things out for a few months before deciding if I need for rotation.
