Freelancers, how do you deal with those last-minute “urgent” project requests where the client wants everything done ASAP but refuses to pay a rush fee? I’m already juggling other projects, and while I can say no or offer alternatives, I always end up feeling guilty especially if it’s a small business just starting out. I know how tough it is when you’ve got a tight budget, but still… my time isn’t free. Anyone else face this struggle? How do you set boundaries without feeling like the bad guy?

I face the same thing! I mean, i wanted to help but also i feel it doesnt worth my time. What i usually do is, I'll suggest another person who fits her budget. I mean, try to help as much as i can
