What's the point of fresh grads median salary hits $4500 in 2025 when more of us REMAIN JOBLESS 6 months after leaving school?? Yes, we want decent salary but we also want MORE jobs vacancies provided for us. I don't mind earning less than $4.5k for my 1st job as long as i get a job within 3-4 months after graduating. The faster i secure a job, the faster I'll gain exposure & experience + the chances to increase my salary later on. Pls, give us more opportunities! Sincerely, i'm-8month-jobless

It’s a joke 🤡 were told to work hard, get a degree, and now we’re sitting at home refreshing job portals all day. Meanwhile, the news keeps parading these inflated salary numbers. Stop flexing and start hiring :/

1. What’s did you graduate with? What course? Because $4.5k fresh grad is a little too high for most industry fresh grad.
2. Why would companies hire a fresh grad with 0 experience paying them $4.5k?
3. There are too many foreigners here. Thus, no vacancies. And who are to blame for this? Gov. They keep bringing in foreigners cause the job market to fall for their own people.

This hit straightttt 🗣️ I've been doing part-time gigs while looking for jobs, and it's skeri thinking how fast time flies. Experience matters more than starting salary at this point. We need more doors to open, not just shiny numbers..

I get it, job hunting suxx. But if starting salaries were lower, companies would just keep underpaying fresh grads. Once you start low, it’s hard to climb. I’d rather wait a bit longer for the right job than settle for less and struggle later. We should be pushing for both fair pay and more job openings, not just taking whatever comes first.

Agree, not everyone’s goal is to hit $4.5k fresh out of school. Some of them just want a job. The longer they wait, the harder it feels to even enter the market.
