Tell me who is at fault. Is it me or HR?? Since graduated, I've applied over 200 jobs and only secured 4 interviews. As if that's not bad enough, I get only ONE job offer and that too, they're giving me lower than my expected salary. HR say, take it or leave it like I'm a 2nd or 3rd choice. I tailor every application as much as I can, I always follow up after applying and keep improving my resume. I genuinely don't know what I'm doing wrong! Or is this just the way the market is rite now?

SAME. I have a masters degree and 3 years part time experience and I'm still getting ghosted constantly. At some point we need to stop asking what WE'RE doing wrong and start questioning why companies have made hiring so unnecessarily dehumanising. It's exhausting. 😤

Actually, if i were you, just take the offer if you can stomach it. First job gets your foot in. 6 months for the experience and leverage. then you can explore other place

Same here. I applied for a job under Recruitpedia. My application gets rejected on 7th April. Today 14th April, I saw the same job advertised again. Il do understand if I got rejected if the position applied has been taken up. But... Well....

Honestly, the market is just really tough now 😮💨 so it’s not fully you. But 200 apps and getting 4 interviews might mean your CV isn’t showing your impact clearly yet (results, numbers, etc). I think maybe just need to tweak strategy a bit. Ask friends who already got jobs and see what they did differently. Keep going 💪

If HR really replies you in that manner, that reflects how toxic is that company culture. Financially if you really need a job, take it but still keep an eye opener for another opportunity.

Just take the offer. I know that's not what you want to hear but first job experience opens doors that no amount of applications can. Six months in, you negotiate or you move. At least you start somewhere what 😊
