I’m a healthcare worker, and I think I’m burning out. The exhaustion, the stress...it’s not just physical anymore. I’ve been feeling symptoms of depression, but I don’t know how to ask for help. Working in a hospital makes it harder because everyone knows me. What if they judge me? What if it affects my job? I know I need to do something before it gets worse, but I don’t know where to start. How do you ask for help without feeling ashamed?

Burnout is real, especially in healthcare. You don’t have to suffer alone. If you’re worried about being seen, maybe try helplines or anonymous mental health services first. Reaching out is always one of the way. no need to feel ashamed. Just find someone who you feel comfortable talking to.
