As a healthcare worker, I’ve been thinking about taking a break for a year or two to recharge. But I’m worried. Will it be hard to return to work after such a long break? I know the field evolves fast, and I’m concerned that I might fall behind in terms of skills and knowledge. Has anyone else taken a long break and managed to come back smoothly? Or do you think it’ll be difficult to re-enter the workforce, especially with the constant changes in healthcare practices? Share your thoughts pls!

I haven’t taken a break myself, but I’ve seen colleagues do it and come back even stronger. Many employers now understand the value of rest, especially post-COVID.
