Looking for advice on salary negotiations! I’m currently in a senior role making SGD85k. I’m interviewing for a position with a salary range of $75k - $85k, but I’d like to negotiate for a higher salary and possibly a senior title, given my experience. Any tips on how to approach this? I know the company has already stated their range but i believe, they can wiggle some more + they can't possibly gonna pay the same salary as I'm currently earning. There should be at least 20% increment right?

Here’s a job search tip my friend and I came up with!
When employers ask for your salary expectations, give a range that includes your target. Keep the range reasonably small 'I'm looking for SGD87-95K. If they ask what you’re currently making, you can either politely avoid the question by restating your range or mention a slightly higher number that you can back up, like 'around SGD90K with bonus.' Keeps things straightforward!

Hey! I would recommend you share your salary goals but also make sure you make it clear you are open to negotiation and that you understand that comp includes both salary & benefits. This keeps the door open for HR & recruiters to discuss it with you.

Given your experience, asking for a senior title or above that, 20% raise seem to be reasonable for you to negotiate. One thing you can try is to match all your achievements that you did and skills you gained with the job scope that they've put on. What they want to see is how you'll bring that additional value beyond the role's standard expectation. Just be confident with it.
