Hello! I work in a hotel as a Front Desk Supervisor with 3 years of experience. I started as a front desk agent and worked my way up to a supervisor in just a short period of time, because I'm very passionate in what i do. I'm planning to either get a promotion or move to a better company, but my friend said it’s hard to progress without certifications. Now I’m wondering, is it worth getting certs like hospitality management or F&B-related ones? Or is experience actually more important?

You’ve already proven yourself with your promo, which says a lot more than paper sometimes! But if you’re aiming for higher roles or international brands, a cert in hospitality or leadership might help open doors. Think of it as bonus points, not a must-have :)
