Keeping spirits up during off-season as a hotel manager is no joke. When the bookings slow down, I notice my team’s mood dips too. The energy isn’t the same, and even the smallest tasks feel heavier for them. I try to motivate with little treats or mini activities, but it’s still tough. As a manager, how do you keep morale up when there’s not much excitement or guest interaction going on?

Same struggle here. I started doing “shout-out Fridays” to highlight little wins or acts of kindness during the week. Costs nothing, but boosts morale surprisingly well.
